hmmMMM Royce is downtown right now, so literally on the opposite side of the planet, but he might be trying to convince Alfie to go meet up with Andersen, who is close to the new areas! So maybe they can ram into each other at some point and be sneaky assholes at each other. Does Squalo use the tunnels a lot?

this is actually how me and Flynn-player got around this part, basically our characters hallucinated at some point meeting, talking to each other and finding common ground during the "twenty years at Snowblind" event, and remembered just enough of it post-event to contact each other >.>
could be more interesting if we can have it happen naturally though.

WE CAN DO THAT it's always so hard to get prickly characters to talk to each other, but maybe we could have that "twenty years at snowblind" be a thing where like, they ran into each other a few times and got paranoid at each other? they can kind of be suspicious at each other or something, idk
I'm also down for it happening naturally, if we can figure that out, but I am srsly down for anything since I'm dedicated to these two meeting somehow - another I can think of includes like, a sort of overheard/handwavey type deal of someone talking about how royce and alfie have a lot of weapons/supplies that are for trade? that's always an easy starter.
WELL at least suspicion can definitely be a thing! Squalo's fairly paranoid even without exposure effects (for now) since it pretty much comes with the job, so.
Also he would totally be all over a weapons trade, the thing is he doesn't really have anything to trade yet and his few recent encounters have implied strongly that it's a bad idea to assault people over their stuff without gathering proper intelligence about them first. A nice doctor stabbed him with a scalpel for his trouble :(

YEAH it's a regular thing, I think Iddy (alfie's player) has a post for it on alfie's journal just as a like... "this is an ongoing thing" idea, which i think is also an ic idea too, like if you have something to trade you can do it through ~alfie's service, though i think a lot of characters don't trust him to do it anymore.
royce has also put up trade posts in the past and he'd probably do them in the future if alfie wasn't up to it so yeah!! sure, we can handwave that same thing. royce's would probably have more weapons, anyway.
