Network Prompts
ONE: IT WON'T BE LONG NOW... Well, you made a mistake. You spent too long searching around, or you ran outside near the end of the day for just one more thing, and now you've been locked out. You can search around all you want, but the best shelter you can hope for is pressing against the side of a sealed up building. You do still have your tablet, though. Maybe someone on the network can give you some advice, or at least some comfort while you wait for hypothermia to set in.
TWO: CABIN FEVER Maybe you didn't want that mistake of getting caught outside to happen again, but now you've ended up staying too long in one location, and cabin fever has set in. Maybe you're taking to the network to try and ignore the hallucinations. Maybe you want to tell everyone that you've figured out they're all in on your kidnapping. Maybe you ended up wandering off and now you'd really like to know if anyone can check back in the place you were at for your pants.
Action Prompts
THREE: AN UNEXPECTED MEETING You're going about your business searching what seems like it might be an especially promising house--it's fully intact and there's even a working fireplace with some wood! It looks like someone else has the same idea, though, and you've run into them in the middle of your search. Do you share the potential wealth or try to kick them out? On the other hand, maybe you know who this is, or maybe you're just glad to actually see another person for the first time in ages.
FOUR: GOOD MORGUE-NING You've just woken up in a morgue after dying in one unfortunate way or another. You have no idea where you are beyond that, but your tablet is insisting you can't stay here, so you should probably get out of here pretty quickly. Of course, bringing people back from the dead isn't a perfect science, so you're missing something important to you. Maybe you've lost your voice, maybe you can't remember where you're from, maybe you can't remember where you are right now. It looks like someone else is nearby, though. Maybe they can help you out?
Clint hesitates for a moment before lowering his weapon, keeping the arrow notched for now but he was at least more relaxed than he had been.
"Seems to be a common trend around here," he said in an attempt at a lighthearted tone but it was a pretty poor excuse for one honestly. "..You know, I was honestly starting to think I was the only person around this godforsaken place."
"True. Traveling during the day is better than at night but it still isn't good," Clint drawled, taking note of her change in stance and finally un-notching the arrow, tucking it back into his quiver. "Wastelands huh? I'm assuming not a snowy wasteland like this."
Yes, she's fully serious. Oh right her name. Without the radio she probably can't just call herself the lone wanderer without getting more weird looks.
"Sadly, no," he said with a frown, shaking his head as he reached back to rub at his neck slightly. "Like I said, I didn't even realize there were other people here until I found you."
"No that seems to be a bad plan in this place." She's just pulling out what she can find and placing it in the center of the table. It's not much but she's from the wasteland so any food is good in her books.
Setting his bow on the table, Clint moves to help her raid the kitchen, wanting to take full stock of everything that's available to them. He'd been on enough missions for SHIELD to know not to be picky about what he had resource wise so whatever they had?
It was good enough for him.
"Have you seen anyone else since you got here? In any of the other buildings or in this one?"
"I've met a few people. All as confused as I was. Not in this one but if you go out and explore there are other buildings scattered around in the snow.
I think you can use the weird devices that we woke up with to talk to people as well."
"I heard some chatter from them but I wasn't paying much attention. I was a little worried this was all some HYDRA trap, honestly," he admitted, finishing his raid of the cupboards.
Sliding into one of the chairs, the archer glanced over all of it before grabbing a box of crackers to dig into.
"Probably easier to kill." If there's one thing that's really obvious to Hope it's that these people she's meeting don't seem to be from the same world she's from. The lack of complaining about radiation for one but the second, stuff like this. World wide anything.
"Do they have an actual goal, or just general terror?"
Yeah, he's starting to realize that the more he talks to her.
"They want to cleanse the world of anyone that would be a threat and then take control. At least, that was there last big thing. Lately they've been experimenting on individuals to see if they can harness powers--abilities that a normal person can't," he said with a shrug and a frown, snagging a few more crackers.
"1940?" She looks amazed. "That's ....wow. I thought you meant at least 2040. I'm really getting the feeling that whatever brought us here brought us from more then different places because it was 2277 before I woke up here."

She'd been looking around the house when she'd heard the door slam. Her hands are up but she's ready to make a run for it if the person seems violent.

"I've been getting that a lot. There's a few people but I think it's hard to collect together with the never ending blizzard."
She shrugs.
"I'm used to travelling by myself in wastelands so I've been exploring instead of staying in one place."
Granted her wasteland was irradiated but not freezing.
no subject
Though she did seem rather at ease in this place.
"What's your name?"
no subject
Yes, she's fully serious. Oh right her name. Without the radio she probably can't just call herself the lone wanderer without getting more weird looks.
"Hope Irving. How about you?"
no subject
"Even better."
Hear that dry tone? That's the tone of a man that definitely does not find that to be any better than this.
"Clint Barton. Pleasure to meet you."
no subject
"You too. I don't suppose you've found anything that explains how or why we're here?"
no subject

She is so tired of cults.

Glancing around, one of the archer's eyebrows lifted.
"Any food in here?"
no subject
She nods at the question though, turning to go in the next room which is the kitchen like area.
"There's some food in here. Not much but enough to get through at least a few days."
no subject
God the idea of it was enough to make him rub at his forehead.
"Alright. That's better than nothing. I doubt it's a good idea to stay in one place for too long anyway."

It was good enough for him.

She sits down as well, taking a drink from a water bottle she'd filled up.
no subject
"No, not that kind. I almost wish it was a giant beast instead of a world wide terrorist organization."
no subject
"Do they have an actual goal, or just general terror?"

"They've been around since at least the forties."

Having been about to pop a few more crackers into his mouth, he pauses, glancing at her
"..1940. Why?"
no subject
no subject
And the mysteries of this place just kept getting more and more extreme.
"It was 2015 where I'm from."
no subject
No she does not even look like she's joking. She thinks back to her history books.
"2015 that's....37 years before the resource wars."
