they haven't actually met yet but from their talks Clarke has decided she's a good guy!! they have a similar leaderly demeanor so she feels a bit of connection that way; even though they come from suuuch different worlds, and the whole "magic" thing is still taking some getting used to, they have a lot in common. and so they're sort of kindred spirits in that way, even though they don't know each other super well yet.
