OKAY I LIED HERE'S THE REAL MEME ANSWER

I'm not going to say that Alex's feelings about Tim are *~*complicated*~* or anything because his general attitude really is just "fuck this guy in particular," but there's a part of Alex that recognizes that had circumstances been different, they probably would have gotten along pretty well. Like, we joked about they both immediately regretted their first conversation in-game together upon realizing with whom they were talking, but he was having something that felt like fun (??? alien concept) when they were messing around like that. It's just a SHAME that his conversational partner turned out to be a HUGE JACKASS AM I RIGHT

Even under all Alex's needless antagonism and argumentativeness and asshole accusations, he does recognize that Tim is more responsible about This Shit than Jay. He won't admit it, but there's something approaching respect there. Tim knew better than to seek out Jessica. Tim wanted to listen to Alex's warning about the tunnel. Tim has sense. That's why, at the end, instead of being all vitriolic and mad about being stabbed in the neck and getting totally #wrekt, Alex tried to tell him to finish it. This cannot continue; surely Tim knows that. Alex vehemently hates him on a personal level, but he is able to separate that from what he feels needs to be done, if that makes any sense? Alex wouldn't go out and try to literally set Tim on fire and kill him if he truly didn't believe it needed to be done.

But Tim is the source of all this, and there's pretty much no way he'll ever get around that.

For all that this stupid place is a shitty snowhell, things are different here in Norfinbury. The whole town is essentially quarantined with the snow walls, and people come back to life. There's literally no point. Tim still shouldn't be smearing his disgusting plague friendship all over the place, but at least it can be contained here. Alex is very, very tired of killing, and he really doesn't want to do any of that here. So stop fucking tackling him, you linebacker wannabe asshat.
