About them: Ten-year-old boy from a post-apocalyptic world with a funny hat. Usually friendly and polite but has a major grudge holding problem. Loyal to a fault. Feeling kind of under the weather right now because he's half-blind and generally in pain.
Current plans: He's hanging around with John Watson right now since he needs his injuries looked after until they're really healed so they don't get worse. House is potentially sending another hacking mission his way and he has one on the backburner that Billy likely gave to him when they met up. A potential kidnapping by Joker was mentioned but that was before everyone died so we'll see if that's still something that can be worked in! I'm always up for a new project!
Desired CR: I know this isn't very specific but all of it's good! He's becoming confused about his negative CR, finding an new perspective on things, but that doesn't mean I'm pushing for him to have all positive CR. I love it when he makes new friends just as much as when he wants to kick someone in the shins.
Not looking for: I don't want him to die again quite right away since he just did recently, and I kind of want to play around with his current injuries, but otherwise I'm open to anything! Also, obviously, except romance, since he's ten, but that goes without saying.

About them: A bubbly blonde seamstress! She tries to be open and welcoming to everyone she meets even if they don't seem very nice, which is maybe not always the best idea. She doesn't know what's going on with the town half the time but tries her best anyway!
Current plans: Girl's trying to get laid.
Desired CR: Give me...all! Ginger is always trying to make new friends, and if people think that she's grating or annoying that's totally fair because that sort of personality isn't always gonna mesh with everyone.
Not looking for: Nothing offhand that I can think of! I'm willing to discuss shipping with her but she's already lost two boyfriends so a third would really mess her up; I'm inclined to tread cautiously in that regard.

About them: Early-20s former child superhero born from chaos magic who is used to having power over reality. Big fan of banter, self-sacrifice, and really lame pop culture references. Friendly if a touch socially awkward and somewhat self-absorbed. Notably poor impulse control. Prone to depression.
Current plans: Swinging toward the industrial district to pick up a copy of shadownet from DS, I believe. Hanging with Dorian.

About them: Angsty puzzle-solving bad decisions machine. Quiet to the point of being standoffish but not inherently unfriendly. Slapstick sense of humor. Decent listener. Terrible temper with surprisingly vicious results. Thinks he knows everything yet has shit self-esteem.

Character name and canon: Royce Melborn | Riyria Revelations
About them: Royce is halfway to tsundere, in a phrase. He's a thief/assassin who is incredibly paranoid. He's spent most of his life getting kicked around by his Tragic Past™ so that means he doesn't trust anybody, hates most people, and is very stubborn about being Independent. You'd think this doesn't often lend well to positive CR and YOU WOULD BE CORRECT. He's kind of a dick, but he's only a dick when it serves him, or when he wants to be left alone, which is most of the time, actually. But he isn't stupid, so he plays nice here, especially when he thinks you might be useful later. He'll talk to just about anybody but his conversations tend to start practically. Right now he's also incredibly depressed so he's way more likely to try to start a conversation because being lonely sucks.
Current plans: Royce is heading to the chapel right now to probably do some bad experiment for House, but all of his friends have told him this is a stupid idea and that he should stop. Like three of them are going to be dead though so he's going to try it anyway. Alfie will probably stop him! Otherwise he's just... wandering residential two. He doesn't have a goal and it is slowly sucking the life out of him.
Desired CR: ALL. More friends? More enemies? The only person he really hates right now is House and that's old hat.
Not looking for: Romance is the only thing I can think of, if only because Royce is really hard to seriously ship.

chaos
About them: A tiny ex-military mixed martial artist who works as the security heavy for a crew of interstellar smugglers.
chaos is very calm, kind and gentle and prefers taking things easy. He is generally friendly to everyone he meets and loves everyone he meets even if he does not always necessarily like them. He tries to be honest with people but refuses to give false hope so he doesn't sugarcoat things or shy away from harsh, painful truths. His philosophical mannerisms and the sadness in his eyes hint at his true age.
He's existed in his current form for several thousand years at least and before he had a physical from he simply existed as Anima. As Anima he's been around since the birth of the dimensional universe making him around thirteen billion years old.
He's the closest thing that exists to an angel in his own world but is never actually referred to as one. His existence and powers are explained as being rooted in quantum physics, not magic and he considers his creator to be the will of the universe. If a gun were held to his head he'd say he's only as divine as humanity wants him to be.
chaos's primary function in his world is to be one of the two beings that drive the engine of human consciousness. By chaos's power human will can express individuality and independence but this same power is unraveling the collective unconscious. To counteract this chaos will one day have to reunite with his power and ignite it, destroying the dimensional universe and its attached unconscious layer before the unraveling can spread to higher domains.
...To put all of that in less "what?" terms, he is his universe's harbinger of the Apocalypse and he would very much like to not be. He's not sure why his universe allows him to exist if the very fact of his existence is so dangerous. The fact that he is in Norfinbury and Norfinbury has a timer on it worries him.
Current plans: I've been tossing ideas around but the absolute concrete definite plans right now are chaos is going north from the Ice Tunnels to gather food and then going to visit Andromeda before bringing food out to the Industrial Sector.
Without any of his powers some of his preternatural calm will start to crack the longer he's in game. He is also learning how to be mortal and still has not instinctively figured out things like how often he should eat, how to keep warm, how much rest is adequate for function etc.
Desired CR: Anything, he's new! Friends, enemies, companions... One thing I would LOVE is an excuse to explore his morality. For all of his apparent goodness, chaos takes part in below board dealings all the time and used to work doing covert military missions for the government. He will fight dirty if he has to. This is a guy who wound up working on a crew by winning all of the crew's money in poker and holding the money hostage until everyone agreed to do what he said. So don't worry about throwing complicated CR his way I would love to see where it goes.
chaos is also a good shoulder for characters to lean on if they need someone to talk to. Obviously CR might have to build up to that point but he never shares other people's secrets and never judges.
Not looking for: Romance is probably not going to happen.

The Joker
About them: A psychopathic, mass-murdering clown. He commits crimes based on what he thinks is funny. While he is extremely dangerous, it is possible to cross his path and be unharmed if he sees no humor in hurting someone.
Lately he's been mourning the death of Harley Quinn in his own dysfunctional way which makes him even less predictable than usual.
Current plans: Suffering a loss of humor as a death cost. Beyond this he's going to be circling the residential district to resume poking at trap doors.
Desired CR: Always up for more ways for him to ruin other characters' lives! Also villain-friend CR, more enemies, people to manipulate, all of it.
Not looking for: Romance is obviously not going to be happening.

Character name and canon: Jared Rhys, Original
About them: Rhys is pretty easygoing and easy to get along with, if you can put up with his wry sense of humor and sharp observation. At this point in his canon, he's been through a lot, having just gotten out of prison for arson, but he's mostly a really lonely guy who fucked up a lot of his life, and is trying to make it better but doesn't quite know how. He is by nature a healer, having trained for many years to use his supernatural abilities for positive things, and the fact that those abilities happen to come from the fact that he's half-incubus, well, that's just a thing that he pretends isn't a big deal. Peoples' life energy really aren't that delicious and he's been on the wagon for a while now, okay?
Current plans: Current plan is to get his shit together enough to survive more than a day, then he'll take it from there. :) I would like to see him get his feet under him solidly enough to provide a good support role for folks and put his medical abilities to good use, but he's got a good head on his shoulders and willing to throw in pretty much wherever he's needed, so he'll go with the flow as he settles in!
Desired CR: All the CR, basically. Rhys is trying to get his life back on track after three years of screwing up, and he's going to need all the help he can get. Friends, mentors, enemies, significant others, people he can't stand that make him want to be better out of spite...everything.
Not looking for: Nothing in particular, though Rhys is trying to climb out of a hole, and I think I would like to focus on that, rather than finding him a new one to climb into. He's had a tough time and he deserves some victories. Even in a place like this.

Character name and canon: Sylar / Heroes
About them: Mild-mannered watchmaker turned unstoppable killing (and joking) machine, trying to go back to being mild-mannered. Or take control of the town. He really won't know until he gets there. Sylar always introduces himself as Gabriel, likes meeting new people and is intensely, dangerously curious. He especially likes talking about magic or superpowers. He gets along best with people who don't sugarcoat things, and hates people who try to manipulate him. He is good at fixing things and has collected a ton of tools.
Current plans: He is currently trying to get to the new area to help explore it. He's had a rough time getting sidetracked and feeling like he's not contributing to figuring out this mystery, so he wants to be at the forefront.
Desired CR: Anyone who doesn't mind hanging out with a serial killer! Or anyone who violently hates hanging out with a serial killer! I really like exploring his fears, which are: being alone, being useless, and not knowing anything, probably in that order. If your character likes discussing existential crises, then they might get along well with him. Really, though, I've had a lot of CR and development from unexpected places, so I'm happy for him to meet anyone.
Not looking for: Not really looking for romance options (like anyone would be interested), but everything else is cool. I don't shy away from any topic, so any sort of interaction is good!

Character name and canon: Zack Fair // Final Fantasy VII
About them: An ex-SOLDIER who used to be all badass and involved in his company until Shit Went Down on a mission and he went from one of their best to a science experiment to an escaped sample and then ended up dead while trying to save a friend. Originally cocky, optimistic, quick with a joke, and stupidly loyal to a fault, Zack's- still stupidly loyal to a fault with a side of humor. But eight months time in Snowhell does all sorts of wonders to someone and he's not as put together as he used to be. This extends to him not being as inclined to trust people though he'll still try to work with others and extend a helping hand when he can.
Recently, he's realized how much he wants to live past Snowhell, too, and continue a life with the others he's been traveling with. And coupled with them finding out the truth, that's put a new spin on things.
Current plans: Zack's been traveling with Kunsel, Zell, and Jim for a while now. They're all currently uncovering portions of the Radiation Zone and looking for a way to the next area.
Desired CR: Pretty much anything at this point? Zack tends to gravitate towards more positive people, but he's been prone to try and be civil these days when working out things considering their time limit in town.

Character name and canon: Enoch/El Shaddai
About them: A 400-year-old (actually 390-something) immortal human who is too extroverted for this immortality crap. At least when it comes to mortals. Give him immortal friends and he will be just fine. ...Well okay it will take him more than that to be fine. He's got overactive empathy and is selfless to a fault and I mean to a fault, as in it can get him killed, especially when combined with a nasty PTSD/depression combo. Loves everyone, forgives easily, been in Norfinbury from the beginning and isn't doing so great. Currently under a death price that forces him to say what he thinks and feels.
Current plans: Well right now he's headed to the industrial zone to get the stuff he left behind when he died, but he ultimately wants to meet up with Beckett again, having been separated on death. Problem with being an immortal living among mortals? The latching on to another immortal. He is clingy. Doesn't mean he won't chat up the network though.
Desired CR: Anyone! New friends, new enemies (if you can make yourself his enemy for more than a hot second, hatred burns itself out fast with him), evolution of existing CR in any direction, Enoch is outgoing at heart, if very sad.

Character name and canon: Rhys | Borderlands
About them: Rhys, the panicky cyborg office boy you all know and... tolerate! Norfinbury has defs gotten to him, and he's prone to long periods of just pretending everything is fine sandwiched between small freakouts (and large freakouts, really). He's got a good heart hidden by layers of ambition, tryhard, and (attempted) snark. Really, he's a great big dork who gets giddy about robots and ice cream, sporting a ducky-printed bathrobe nigh-constantly as of late.
He's been separated from Dumpy, his small screaming robot, who is currently hosting his dead AI boss. There's a lot to that story if you're new, so let me know if you want a tl;dr.
Current plans: As of Day 256-257 he's avoided an anomaly and is holed up in the hospital, running smack dab into Beckett, who may or may not (probably will) keep him around to snack on. While Rhys just goes with it because Been There, Done That, Now He's Just Being Rude About It. Angel is speeding his way.
Desired CR: Just spread out in general! Talk to people outside of his circle. Positive, negative, it's all good. He'll awkwardly flirt too, depending on your character.

About them: Ecks is a two-and-a-half-year-old flesh golem from a truly terrible fantasy world ruled by evil gods. She collects both stuffed animals and father figures and has terrible taste in the latter. She's very literal-minded and actually likes taking orders from others, though she does have her own morals and opinions and has done a lot of learning about the complexities of the whole free will thing.
Current plans: Ecks is alone since Castiel went and died on her during Tabletgate. Her hand was badly injured at that time, and my understanding is that Dr. Watson would like to come help her avoid getting gangrene and being forced to amputate it. She's in the industrial zone, as prior to all of this going down she and Castiel had been moving into place to try to help figure out how to open the sealed tower.
Desired CR: I'm game to just do stuff and see what happens, but if there's a specific type of CR you'd like to work toward, let me know. Both positive and negative CR are welcome.
Not looking for: No romance or sexual situations, please. About them: Tragic vampire jerk. Used to be an archaeologist and historian looking for the origins of his kind, then the apocalypse happened and he was informed that There Are No Answers and a profound existential crisis ensued. Has officially hit bottom with that a little while ago and been getting steadily better somehow, which means being easier with people but also a lot more dedicated an single-minded in his AnswersQuest. Other interests include food, religion, and blood. Blooooooooooooood.
Current plans: OH BOY. Recently revived in the hospital morgue with a status effect that's nullified his empathy so for the next IC week will be an asshole treating mortals as mobile blood bags. FUN TIMES. Heading back east with a mind to reach the Radiation Zone, will likely leave a bloody trail in his wake. Blooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood.
Desired CR: GETCHER NEGATIVE CR HERE he's been way too nice for way too long, though reduced fucks-giving almost means his playful, carelessly adventurous side gets played up a bit so there may be hilarity potential. In the longer run, still exploring issues of faith and purpose, now with less angst and more open curiosity, and I love anyone who can get adventurous shenanigans out of him even when his fucks come back!

Character name and canon: Davesprite | Homestuck
About them: Davesprite's a weird orange bird person who spent maybe a year in an alternate timeline to save a friend from dying, then got sidelined as the "fake" Dave and picked up a bunch of existential issues because of it, all in the process of playing a video game that ended the world. Fun! Norfinbury has depressed him further, but beyond that he's still a teenager with a good (if ridiculous) sense of humor and propensity to ramble on to himself across a string of topics. He enjoys rap, "irony", wearing sunglasses at night, and dumb doodles, and he is super dedicated to trying to put a stop to this nonsense so people can have good lives again.
Current plans: Davesprite's going to be dying on day 259, but also coming back the same night, and his loss is going to be his spritehood. That means that for about a month (I want this one to last) he's going to be stuck in a totally human body for a change. What happens after that will depend on the event, but his goal is going to be to head east from the funeral home and meet back up with his other travel companions. I'm open to him running into people along the way, especially because he's had three years of not having legs, and learning to walk again is hard. Plus all those wonderful existential issues having a normal body is going to bring up again. Oh, he's also got some of those quantum chips from his smashed tablet and no idea what to do with them right now.
Desired CR: Friends, people to joke with, people to snark at or hassle him, and oddly enough people to talk universal cosmology with seems to be a recurrent CR category for him. Go figure. He gets along with people pretty easily most of the time, though I'm not opposed to more antagonistic CR. He's more lacking in that department.
Not looking for: Not looking for anyone to kill him anytime soon, since he's set to die already by unrelated means. Also not looking for romance since he's having this whole tension/crisis/sort-of-thing-but-not-calling-it-a-thing-because-trollmance-is-weird-and-humans-don't-work-that-way-and-he-has-issues with Karkat.

About them: Karkat is a shouty gray alien who would like you to believe he's more badass than he actually is. The problem is that he's avidly interested in romance and Aggressively Cares about Practically Everything. He's also sort of deeply traumatized by all of his friends murdering each other, his species going extinct, and then everything to do with [S] Game Over (spoilers: even more death), so he's, argh, struggling even more with self-loathing and not knowing his place in the grand scheme of things than before? He's been having a hard time feeling useful in Norfinbury and I guess mostly has been trying to provide emotional support for people he cares about because he's a fucking marshmallow. Also swears a lot, also also has paranoia II, also also also biffles with the murderous stabdad duo of Alfie and Royce and will probably dislike you on principle if you talk shit about them (LOOKING AT YOU, HOUSE).
Current plans: Karkat's due to die horribly via anomaly on day 259 and revive on night 259 in the columbarium. UMM, he's going to be freaked out by basically everything (it's only his second time dying and the trauma of the first was dampened because he lost his emotions) and trying very hard to meet up with Davesprite + actual Cat, one of whom will be over by the funeral home? He's also dealing with paranoia 2 and will be losing his sense of touch, so he's probs gonna be snarlier than usual when shit goes down (and/or catatonic, crying hysterically, who knows). His general plans for Norfinbury are getting everyone the fuck out, so yeah. /o/
Desired CR: HECK basically anything is good? Mostly a temporary traveling group for the aforementioned stint during which he'll be separated from his usual people, but Karkat needs more friends and I need to tag out more. Gimme.
Not looking for: Not looking to get him killed (yet) and he's. In some kind of romantic clusterfuck of painful emotions with Davesprite, so no mas needed in that regard either.
